Mercury removal
Mercury removal can be done safely and economically.  Please see the section on this site describing this process in more detail. Mercury Removal Page

Cranially centered orthodontics
Although braces can be a long process, the jaw and teeth can be better aligned to help a person’s cranial balance and alignment.  This allows for a healthier musculo-skeletal system.  A broader upper arch and a more forward lower arch makes for a more stable alignment for the whole body.

Periodontal Care

We take special steps to make sure your periodontal health can be achieved.  By reducing the bad-acting bacteria in the mouth, the gums can heal.  This not only saves teeth, but as we are learning, helps heart health and gut balance.  Please see the section on this site describing our philosophy in more detail. TMJ and headaches
If the jaw in misaligned, the muscles of the head, neck, shoulders, and back have to accommodate.  In the case of an accident or over a period of time, these muscles can get painful.  By relaxing the jaw to a comfortable position, the other muscles can unwind.  Please see the section on this site describing the kind of care we recommend. Ozone Therapy
Medical ozone is a mixture of oxygen and ozone.  The ozone concentration ranges from 0.5 – 5% O3 depending on application.  Medical/dental oxygen/ozone has been shown to be an effective anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral treatment agent at lower levels than chlorine and kills thousands of times faster.  It disrupts bacteria and other pathogens by disrupting cell walls. It increases circulation and oxygenation to the treatment area.  It increases the immune response and creates an environment for the production of anti-oxidants.

Dental applications include: infusion into infected jaw bones, infusion into inflamed jaw joints, treating cavities, sterilizing root canals prior to filling, infusion of chronically infected root canals, post-surgery healing, reducing periodontal infection/inflammation.

Biologic root canals and cavitation treatment

It is only with the advent of medical ozone that I believe we can get a clean enough root canal system to avoid chronic infection.  We will treat root canals with ozone water and ozone gas to disinfect the system prior to filling.

Also, infected holes in the bone left from previous tooth extraction can be treated with ozone injections to the area.  This may avoid costly and difficult cavitation surgeries.
